Year 1 Spellings
On this page you will find the spellings that your child will be practising in school each week.
It is very important that your child writes their spellings down when practising them at home, rather than just saying the letters out loud. Children should also be encouraged at this stage to say the names of the letters when talking about spellings rather than their sounds.
