Winter Weather Information

School Closures
While every effort will be made to keep the school open during extreme weather, this may not always be possible. Should the school be forced to close:

• parents will be alerted by 7:45am using the School Spider messaging system

• a closure announcement will appear by 7:45 on the home page of the website

• the radio station Dee 106.3 will be informed

Safe paths into school
Snow, and especially ice, can be hazardous underfoot. School will therefore attempt to reduce the risk by clearing and gritting the red paths identified on the map below - please only use these to access the school building in such conditions.
