Governors
We would like to welcome you to Huntington Community Primary School.
The Governing Board is made up of parents, staff, representatives of the community and the Local Authority. As well as sharing a common desire to support the School, the Governing Board have statutory duties by which they are legally bound. We are ultimately responsible for all matters relating to the School including teaching and learning, safeguarding, health and safety, staffing, premises and ensuring financial accountability. We work closely with the head teacher, children and staff in an open, inclusive and caring atmosphere to agree the School’s vision, ethos and strategic direction. All our Governors share a common goal in wanting the very best for the children who attend.
I would like to thank all parents and staff for the support and encouragement they give to Huntington school. For children, this support nurtures key social and creative skills, especially in these early years and helps build confidence and self-esteem. Parent interest and support in promoting the school is invaluable, it ensures Huntington School has a strong partnership with the local community and helps us continue to improve the school experience for every child, on an ongoing basis.
