Pathways to Write

Spring 1: Arthur and the Golden Rope

This half term we will be reading 'Arthur and the Golden Rope' by Joe Todd-Stanton. The outcome of this unit will be to write a myth and will involve children creating their own characters and myths. 

Children will also be focusing on developing their punctuation and writing through the use of relative clauses, adverbials and commas to clarify
meaning and avoid ambiguity.

With each new writing style we encounter, we will focus on: planning, drafting, writing, editing, proof-reading and publishing our work.
