Pathways to Write
Summer 1: The Hunter
During the first half term, children will be reading ‘The Hunter’ by Paul Geraghty. The children will be working towards writing a story involving the discovery of an endangered animal baby
Children will also be focusing on developing their punctuation and writing through the use of relative clauses, adverbials and commas to clarify meaning and avoid ambiguity. With each new writing style we encounter, we will focus on: planning, drafting, writing, editing, proof-reading and publishing our work.
