Junior Maths Evening 2009
In January a maths evening was held to explain some of the newer
methods and strategies taught to the children in the junior classes.
Pat Rogerson, Cheshire's principal primary maths advisor, made the
evening an enjoyable one for the many parents who attended.
Flying foam dice featured heavily, and the intricacies of grid method
and 'chunking' division' were some of the topics covered.
Parents who were unable to attend can obtain a copy
of Pat's notes from the school office.
